John Fedele

Founder & Principal, Haven CMG

John Fedele is the visionary founder and principal of Haven CMG, a construction management and investment holding company based in South Florida. With a career spanning over two decades in the construction and real estate development sectors, John has established himself as a leader known for delivering complex projects with precision and integrity.

Prior to founding Haven CMG, John served as CEO of Golden Sands General Contractors, a family-owned business with a legacy spanning over 30 years. Under his leadership, Golden Sands grew into a nationally recognized firm, specializing in commercial construction, disaster recovery, and complex renovations for Fortune 500 companies across banking, retail, healthcare, and hospitality sectors. John was instrumental in expanding the company’s footprint, overseeing multi-million dollar projects nationwide, and fostering long-term client relationships built on trust, quality, and timely delivery. His tenure at Golden Sands solidified his reputation for driving operational excellence while navigating the challenges of large-scale, fast-paced construction environments.

Beyond his professional achievements, John is an active member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization), where he collaborates with global leaders to promote business excellence and community impact. He is a proud father of two young children and is happily married, balancing his entrepreneurial drive with a strong commitment to family life. An avid athlete, John is also a dedicated triathlete and marathoner, consistently pushing his limits in endurance sports—a reflection of the same discipline and determination he brings to his business ventures.

Cristina Carmona

Executive Director, Haven CMG

Cristina Carmona brings three decades of diverse experience in executive operations, media production, and organizational leadership to her role as Executive Director at Haven CMG. Her career is defined by a steady rise from executive support roles to senior leadership, showcasing her dedication, adaptability, and strategic vision.

She began her professional journey in the entertainment industry, serving as an Executive Assistant at MTV. There, she played a key role in coordinating productions and managing logistics, thriving in a fast-paced, creative environment. She later worked with internationally renowned artist Romero Britto, managing global communications and supporting artistic and administrative initiatives, further demonstrating her versatility and professionalism.

Cristina joined Golden Sands General Contractors in 2015 as Executive Assistant to CEO John Fedele. Her impact was immediate—quickly rising to Chief of Staff, where she helped streamline internal operations, strengthen communications, and support company-wide growth. In 2023, she transitioned with John to co-lead the launch of Haven CMG, a startup construction management and investment holding company, where she now oversees strategic initiatives, operations, and stakeholder engagement.

Outside of her professional life, Cristina is a devoted wife, mother of three adult children, and proud grandmother. She is also an avid runner and endurance athlete, having completed ten marathons —a testament to her discipline, perseverance, and drive. Cristina’s journey is one of purpose, performance, and heart, making her a cornerstone of Haven CMG’s leadership team.
